How much time do I need for training?

We adapt your training to your availability. For many people, two sessions of around 45 minutes each week can be a useful starting point. We determine what suits you based on your situation.

Can I train with discomfort?

You do not need to be pain-free or particularly fit before talking to us. We look at your starting point and adapt movement and training demands to you. New, severe or unexplained symptoms should be medically assessed first.

What if my discomfort increases during training?

Tell us if your symptoms change. We review the demands and adapt your training when needed. If symptoms require medical assessment, we recommend medical or physiotherapy support.

I have tried many things. What is different here?

We begin with a focused assessment of your movement, strength and physical capacity. The findings shape a precise programme for your training weak points. We then support your sessions, review progress and adapt the path – rather than simply trying another set of exercises.

Do I need to be fit already?

No. Your training is based on your current abilities, not a predetermined fitness level. We first discuss whether our support is suitable for you in the initial phone consultation.

What is the difference between the two programmes?

STATERA 1:1 Personal Training includes personal training sessions, weekly check-ins and chat support. With STATERA Training, you train increasingly independently with an individual programme and active help during supervised training hours.

Can my supplementary insurance contribute to training costs?

STATERA holds a Fitnessguide certificate. Depending on your supplementary insurance and the recognised training programme, contributions towards fitness training may be available. Check recognition, required documents and the contribution amount directly with your insurer before starting.

Is online support possible?

Online support is possible with STATERA 1:1 Personal Training if your starting point is suitable. STATERA Training takes place primarily at our Basel studio. We discuss the appropriate format with you personally.

What does support cost?

The investment depends on your starting point and the level of support required. Following your training assessment, you receive a personal proposal with transparent terms. Only the initial phone consultation is explicitly free.

How soon will I notice a change?

Initial improvements may be noticeable after the first training sessions. Other people need more time and consistent training. We have seen many very positive experiences, but your progress remains individual. Regular reviews make that progress visible; we cannot promise a fixed timeframe or freedom from pain.

What happens in the initial consultation?

We get to know each other by phone and discuss your situation, goals and previous experiences. The call is free and comes with no obligation. If it is a good fit, we discuss an appointment for the approximately 75-minute training assessment.

Is your assessment a medical examination?

Our assessment looks at movement, strength and physical capacity to plan your training. We do not provide medical diagnoses or replace medical or physiotherapy treatment. Where appropriate, we work alongside your treating professionals.
